My good friend Michelle

Michele and I became friend when we were on our mission in Seattle, Washington March 2002. I knew her as Sister Nix. The first time I should have meet her would of been at transfers but I happen to get really sick with a fever and bronchitis so I stayed with a member family in bed. So, Sis. Nix came to me as my companion with a member. She was mad at me for not being there at transfers to pick her up.
We were companions for three months which created a bond that would last for a long time. Our companionship wasn't any easy one because of issue which had been brought out with me. When serving other you would be surprised what learn about yourself. Michelle told me this we were friends in the preexistence and that she promised me that she would help me with the path I had chosen because she knew it wouldn't be an easy one. She wrote this to me at end of our companion.... "Sis. Miles you know the song somewhere out there? Just know that there is someone always out there beneth the big blue shy that loves you and is thinking of you." The funny thing is its the opposite know.
We stayed friends after our mission and was married within weeks of each other. I went to her wedding in Salt lake valley and she came to mine as my brides maid honor.
This is at her wedding!

My honor brides maid..she support me in so many ways.

Life has a way of just continuing to go on and it did for both us. She was their to listen to me and to give me advise when needed. We stayed friends for a long time then she got breast cancer. It considered me greatly so as I prayed for my friend. I lost my good friend to breast cancer. Her husband told me when she died that she would be my Guardian angel. I think of her often and so grateful for the time i did have to be her friend.
Many times when I have experienced great emotional pain I have felt her presents next to me. I look forward to the day I can throw my arms around her and give her a great big hug and tell her I have miss you my friend!
